July 23 - July 29, 2006
Introduction
The particle theory group (T-8) at the Los Alamos National Laboratory will host its annual workshop in July 2006 at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The topic of this summer's week long workshop will be recent theoretical developments in particle physics in the anticipation of LHC.
We plan to have three or four talks daily (July 24 through July 29), with plenty of time for informal discussion and collaboration. To encourage this informality, attendance will be limited to 35 participants.
Housing
Accommodations for six nights (July 23 through July 28) at the Inn and Spa at Loretto is included with the registration fee. Additional nights will not be covered by the registration fee but depending on room availability workshop participants can reserve additional nights before or after the workshop at the special rate of $106 (plus any applicable taxes). Further details on accomodations can be found here.
The registration fee, which includes six nights accommodations, breakfast, lunch and snacks Monday-Saturday, will be $450 for all faculty and $250 for junior participants.
Registration
We ask that participants plan to attend for the entire week of the workshop. The deadline for registration is April 30, 2006. Full payment for registration must be received by May 23, 2006. Information on how to pay for registration is available at the bottom of the registration page. If you intend to stay in Santa Fe for additional nights, we strongly encourage you to make your decisions early so that we can guarantee special rate for your stay. We will be unable to provide travel expenses or salaries for the time spent at the workshop.
