We propose using neural networks to detect data departures from a given reference model, with no prior bias on the nature of the new physics responsible for the discrepancy. The virtues of neural networks as unbiased function approximants make them particularly suited for this task. High Scale QCD and Baryogenesis

Abstract: Generally we do not think about QCD when we try to explain the matter--antimatter asymmetry of the universe. I will describe a model where we raise the QCD confinement scale. This can generate a first-order phase transition and triggers electroweak breaking. This provides a baryogenesis scenario with many other cosmological consequences.</description>
